I asked my friend who also is a big fan of old movies what movie I should watch this week and he told me to watch Goodfellas. This movie was so good. Some people say it is even better than the Godfather because it has more action. That is just what I've heard because I haven't actually seen The Godfather. So, if you liked The Godfather then watch Goodfellas! Goodfellas was directed by Martin Scorsese. Scorsese is an amazing director who has directed some great movies such as The Wolf of Wall Street and Taxi Driver. Goodfellas was released in 1990 and is also widely know as arguably Scorsese's best movie. This movie was based on real life events from the gangster Henry Hill but because his crime resume was so long, the movie didn't show all of the crimes that he actually committed. Alrighty guys I have another movie for ya'll. This weeks movie I will be talking about is Top Gun. Wow I really love this movie. It has an amazing cast and a great plot line to it. This is also one of my dad and my step mom's favorite movies so of course as a kid I was forced to watch it. Top Gun never gets old. I 100% recommend watching this movie if you've never seen it! Top Gun was released in 1986 and directed by Tony Scott who also directed many other great movies including The A-Team and Crimson Tide. In my opinion the best movie he ever directed however, would have to be Top Gun. 80's was just Scott's peak because he did so many great movies during that time.
